So, my exams are finally over. Well, the papers were a measure of how hard i've been studying(not hard at all) and signs that I was fucked up and being complacent.
But my rewards were great! I have a fabulous gf who can cook nice dishes for me while I am not working. So, we practically spent most of the time buying and cooking. We had a hella fun time.
Lets see, what my sweet girlfriend cooked for the past few days.
It started off with:-
- mushroom omelette (superb, seriously)
- fried rice (though a bit bland but its a great effort, consider its her very first attempt)
- sambal prawns (delicious!)
- abc soup (not bad)
- cheese omelette (best of the best)
Should give her credit for being able to get a full round omelette for the first time, good job, b.
Above all, seriously its the effort and thoughts that matters at the end of the day. I appreciate all that, knowing b who seldom cooks nor cleans, is able to whip up a few dishes for me to try. :))
Isnt my girlfriend sweet and fabulous?
As for me, my cooking skills needs a lot of polishing
I cooked:-
- pasta (tasted like fried noodles!)
- vegetables (dont mention it!)
- crepes (too thick)
and lastly, a very pathetic American breakfast (which is pathetically just egg and turkey ham) what kind of American breakfast is that, you tell me?
Its a waste we didnt take pictures of any of the dishes. It will be a great laugh for us in the future though.
Everything my girlfriend does or says means so much.
Its not because of the hard work or the words.
It is a symbol of love.
Sometimes you are fated to meet certain people who changed your life.
People whom really make a difference.
They make you a better person.
They pushed you to grow.
So, to my lovely gf, thank you and I love you.
